22. FAD-Conference „Challenge – Exhaust Aftertreatment“
On November 5 and 6, 2025, the 22nd FAD Conference, titled “The Challenge: Exhaust Aftertreatment,” took place. 75 participants accepted our invitation to Dresden. The presentations showcased innovations, research findings, and solution approaches in the field of exhaust aftertreatment. There were also contributions covering cross-cutting themes, which met with great interest. The diverse opportunities for exchanging experiences and information were actively utilized during the breaks and accompanying events. The very well-attended get-together—including the exhibition opening held on the eve of the 22nd FAD Conference—provided an ideal start for initial discussions.
We extend our sincere thanks to all speakers and participants for attending and for their lively engagement in the discussions. We also thank the exhibitors for their commitment and for our long-standing collaboration. Once again, the exhibition provided a highly appealing setting for the exchange of ideas.
Program
The presentations at the 22nd FAD Conference shed light on the diversification of propulsion systems and clearly highlighted where the current challenges lie—for instance, in the exhaust aftertreatment of H2 combustion engines, the implementation of emission-free solutions, and similar areas. In addition to specialized technical presentations, the program also included interdisciplinary contributions.
