Event details
23. FAD-Conference „Challenge – Exhaust Aftertreatment“
The 23rd FAD Conference will take place in Dresden on November 4th and 5th, 2026. As in previous years, this year’s FAD Conference will feature interesting presentations, intensive discussions and an exchange of ideas. The conference program will focus on the following key topics. The conference program will be published in June 2026. We cordially invite you to participate in the 23rd FAD Conference.
We would be delighted if you accept our invitation.
Thematic focus areas
1. Legislation and Emission Strategies
EURO 7/VII Implementation: Strategies for complying with the strict limits for passenger cars and heavy-duty vehicles (H2 – ICE, NOx, particle number down to 10 nm)
Global Harmonization: Comparison of legislation in China (China 7), the USA (EPA/CARB) and Europe
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA): The impact of AGN on the CO2 balance over the entire life cycle
2. Innovative System Components and Materials
Catalytic Converter Technology: Further development of SCR, DOC, and NSC (NOx Storage Catalyst)
Thermal Management: Electrically heated catalysts (E-Kat) and burners to ensure cleaning efficiency immediately after a cold start.
Particulate Filters (GPF/DPF): New substrates and coatings to reduce back pressure while maintaining maximum filtration efficiency.

Registration
Registration for the 23rd FAD Conference is possible after the program publication.
Exhibition
As in previous years, the accompanying exhibition will complement the conference program. It will serve as an informative complement to the presentations and also provide an opportunity to engage in conversation with other conference participants during the breaks. We have indoor and outdoor exhibition space available. Further information about the exhibition will be available for download from April 2026.
