November 2023\nOrt:  Dresden[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The FAD conference took place for the 20th time on November 8 and 9\, 2023. More than 110 participants took part in this anniversary event in person or online. \nThis is a sign that exhaust aftertreatment is still an important issue. In the early years\, the aim was to convey the necessity and introduction of exhaust gas aftertreatment technologies for combustion engines in all areas of application.This year\, for example\, we discussed the possibilities of implementing CO2-neutral mobility with the combustion engine. To achieve this\, the tried and tested must be adapted\, but also completely new approaches to solutions must be developed and discussed. Based on this\, the thematic focal points of this year’s conference were selected. \nOn the first day of the conference\, two sections were dedicated to exhaust gas aftertreatment for hydrogen combustion engines. After the lunch break\, there were presentations from the field of research and development. The conference day concluded with the section “Challenges and Solutions for EURO 7/ VII Emissions Legislation”. \nThe morning of the second day of the conference was reserved for presentations on new fuels for future mobility and technologies for new fuels. Presentations on new technologies for exhaust gas aftertreatment and alternative technologies dominated the afternoon of the second day of the conference. \nThe interesting presentations were supplemented by the exhibition accompanying the conference.
